In cabinets of varying sizes (1-2 m) accommodating eight shelves each, LED lighting strips with transparent coverings were installed upon the front underside of each shelf to illuminate the respective shelf below. The COB (Chip on Board) technology used here ensures optimum white light quality as well as homogenous illumination.

The lighting solution was supplied as a complete package allowing simple and rapid (plug & play) installation. A further advantage is the low level of maintenance thanks to the LEDs' long service life and robustness.

It was thus possible within an exceedingly short time span to equip dm branches across the whole of Hungary with this compact lighting solution.
